The other day we went on a hike near our house. It was beautiful and the boys had lots of fun looking for lizards. This is the beginning of the hiking season for us and we are excited to spend time outside. Boy #2 is too big for the backpack this year and has to hike on his own feet, so we may not hike very long distances, but either way it will be nice to be in the mountains.

Rock Canyon Park? You might want to hike over here and let your boys play in the ice cold, snow runoff river, or skip stones across the pond. You are welcome to change clothes at our house or have a picnic on our patio. Verna
You're inspiring me to take the kids hiking. We love Rock Canyon during spring run-off season (we go to the canyon, not the park) where the kids can play in the water.
