Each time I drive to Southern California I wonder who in the world came up with the name Zzyzx for a road. Well, this time I decided to look it up. The area near the road was named by Curtis Howe Springer who established the Zzyzx Mineral Springs and Health Spa in 1944. He used the name because he claimed it was the last word in the English language. I guess you learn something new every day.

I have wondered about that road sign too. Good to know. Also, I just wanted to say, you guys are welcome anytime. The Husband gets tired of having my family all the time and you guys made him excited enough to go to Disney. You don't know how truly amazing that is. Thanks. I just love you boys, tell them sorry about the dog attacks.
That's so funny! I think about that everytime we've passed the sign. And how on earth do you pronounce it?
