The day is almost over but I wanted to share a few thoughts on Valentine's Day. It seems like the older I get the less important Valentine's Day is for me. I try to make it fun for the boys and I did make heart shaped pizza, but I was trying to figure out why Valentine's Day seems different for me now. Tonight I was recollecting some Valentine's Days from high school and college. It seemed so important to have a boyfriend or feel loved on Valentine's Day. Tonight I realized that Valentine's Day is different for me now because everyday is like Valentine's Day. I am lucky have a husband who loves me everyday, so I don't feel the need to celebrate or have flowers or chocolates, even though he gave me some amazing chocolates today. I am also lucky to have parents who sent me a Valentine's card every year until I got married. They knew it was important to feel loved and I am grateful to them for that gesture on Valentine's Day. So Happy Valentine's Day!

I love that photo of you and Steve! We need to get together soon.
That is a cute pizza. And you do have an awesome husband.
I agree about Valentine's Day. As long as it includes chocolate (and every day should!), I don't much care.
Love the pizza and the picture. HVD to you too.
You're making me seriously sad with that pizza photo because there is no way I am ever going to make one of my good, old pepperoni pizzas as long as I live in France. First of all, pepperoni here is ick, second of all, I don't have my Kitchen-Aid, and third, my oven sucks. But since I get to live in Paris, I won't complain (too much). And, it gives me a little something to look forward to. And that photo is great; you both look so happy. That one needs to be framed. Miss you!
