Boy #1 started art classes two weeks ago and this is what he came home with last week. I love it and am so happy that he loves his art class. My camera doesn't capture the vibrancy of the colors, but you can get the idea.

Here's the Broccoli-Cheddar soup recipe:
Ingredients:
3/4 c. chopped onion
6 T. butter
3/4 c. flour
3/4 t. salt
3/4 t. pepper
2 1/4 c. chicken broth
4 1/2 c. milk
3 c. broccoli--fresh or frozen
1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
In saucepan, saute onion in butter till tender. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Add broth and milk, cook and stir until mixture boils and thickens. Add broccoli. Simmer, stirring till heated through. Remove from heat and blend with a soup blender. Stir in the cheese. Eat!
